At Taquera Log Cabins, we take pride in restoring and preserving timber-framed structures. Recently, we had the opportunity to work on a challenging yet rewarding project: restoring a fire-damaged cabin in Weltevredenpark.
The Challenge
When we first arrived at the site, the cabin showed significant signs of damage. The fire had compromised much of the timber frame, leaving it unstable and in desperate need of repair. While the devastation was overwhelming, we saw a beautiful cabin hidden beneath the ash and soot, just waiting to be revived.
